On Snow (during winter)

Visit a Siberian Husky Kennel and try out dog sledding on a farm Vallholt, in North Iceland. How does it work? Two people and a musher share a sled, pulled by 8-10 Siberian Huskies. The sled is pulled through a scenic trail of 6-10 km. The trail takes about 45-70 minutes to finish with short stops for pictures. The musher will explain the basics of dog sledding and will introduce you to these amazing dogs. There's also an opportunity to mush the sled yourself with the guide's supervision. After the tour, you'll have time to meet, cuddle and take pictures with the dogs.

Dry Land (during summer)

Dog sledding is available during summer, too! Visit a Siberian Husky Kennel at Vallholt farm and experience a dry land dog cart tour! How does it work? Two people and a musher share a cart, pulled by 9-14 Siberian Huskies. The trail is approximately 2.5 km and takes place in a beautiful, remote area in Northern Iceland. You can enjoy the scenery even though we should warn you - the trail is pretty bumpy! The trail takes about 15-20 minutes to finish. Afterward, you'll visit the kennel and get to know those lovely dogs better! Visiting the kennel during summer is also an amazing opportunity to see sled dogs in the training process.

If you are over 100 kg, please inform us in advance so arrangements can be made.
Not suitable for pregnant women or people with back problem.
The ride on snow is approx. 45-70 min and on dry land its approx. 15-20 min.
