Tour Itinerary Overview

The five zip lines will take you through and over the fantastic cliffs and rustling rivers. This guided tour will include light hiking between the lines while your guides tell you the most exciting stories about the canyon.

First, your guides will welcome you at the Zipline Akureyri headquarters, where you'll put the safety gear on. Then, you'll walk for around 2 or 3 minutes to the first line. One of the guides will go through ahead with all the guests and will greet all of you on the other side, one at a time. The other guide will stay at the beginning of the track and assist you before you go.

While following the short forest paths between the five lines, your guides will tell you the stories of the area. At the end of the fifth line, we'll hike for about 5-10 minutes to get back to headquarters. There, you'll have time to relax, change photos and experiences, or enjoy your packed lunch.
